The Hughenden has a long tradition with the sports. The Hughenden has long been associated with bloodstock from sponsoring polo and country races to its role as a quasi stable during the Royal Easter Show.
Did you know that the sons of the Quaife family, who built The Hughenden were well known cricketers? The hallways of The Hughenden are scattered with cricketing memorabilia, and horse racing displays - including Frederick Harrison Quaife in his horse and buggy.
Today, the Hughenden plays a major role in sponsoring AJC and Royal Randwick Events, as well as providing the ideal setting for pre-game dinner and drinks, and post game coffee and cake.
