Located in a grand old Victorian mansion on Queen Street, Woollahra, The Victorian Lounge Bar has beautiful antique furnishings stunning artwork and a baby grand piano. The lounge is perfect to sit and unwind with coffee and cake, or perhaps a glass of wine and some cheese, soaking in the surroundings of the historic Hughenden.
The Hughenden Lounge Bar is open for guests and the public 7 days a week from 7am till mid-night.

You will often find our in house guests reading the newspaper and having breakfast in morning.
Come lunch time, there are small meetings and groups of friends come inside to escape the cold and enjoy a coffee by the fireplace.
On Thursday evenings from 6pm, be entertained by Courtney Severini on the piano.
Her voice is definately unique, with a low smooth register which compliments her soulful lounge style, quite similar to that of Sade. She is influenced by all styles of music, be it jazz, classical, R&B, world or latin music. Her strong classical training has given her the chops to tackle complex repertoire, and her jazz influences have given her freedom of expression. She enjoys composing piano music and songwriting, as well as performing for audiences in intimate spaces. Her repertoire is diverse, spanning all genres and artists, but her european edge sets her apart from your average piano bar songstress.

Friday and Saturday nights, Dylan Kelly and Tom Marr are live from 7pm on the piano with some of your golden oldies and classic tunes. Dylan takes requests and Tom Marr's voice is fantastic
Bronte Horder has now joined our team of talented vocalists and pianists. Brontë is 19 and has been singing all her life. She began performing at the age of 3. Brontë has been playing the piano and writing songs since age 10. Her three-hour bracket at the piano is filled with hits, spanning across different genres and time periods. Whether serenading the romantic couples with a Judy Garland song, singing an authentic Edith Piaf French classic, or belting out the latest Lady Gaga hit, Brontë is the perfect complement to your special event.
